The secredit to having a great credit score is to have a positive payment history that is varied, and to have the other factors that make up your rating covered as well. All of the information that decides your score lives on your credit report, so looking that over is how you decide what it is you can do. A varied and complete payment history is going to have good histories on both credit card and loan accounts. You’re also going to have little to no debt, pay your bills on time, and have a history that is of some length because the age of your history matters. The secret, really, is to be financially active, but to also live with a budget and have things under control.
