Credit Card Debt Up After Christmas
January 2nd, 2012
I wonder how much has been added to the average credit card bill for December. Somehow rational thinking seems to fly out of the window when it comes to spending at Christmas time. The attitude seems to be that whatever happens the children have to get the presents they want, despite the fact that many parents simply can’t afford to buy them. Parents will even go short during the rest of the year just so they can have more to spend at Christmas. It’s all very silly really, as those who build up serious credit card debt can get into a lot of trouble, and some may even default on their repayments to their credit card providers.
